Mr. Rudolph D. Rudy Anzalone, Sr., 79, of Frederick, MD, and former long-time resident of New Jersey, died on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Citizens Nursing Home, Frederick. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lydia E.
(Antonini) Anzalone.
Born on June 15, 1928 in Hackensack, NJ he was a son of the late Nuzio and Mary (Somaine) Anzalone. He was a graduate of the Hackensack public school system. He was an accountant and retired from Scholastic Inc. Mr. Anzalone was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War. He was an active member of various Masonic Organizations and served as the Potentate of the Salaam Shriners of Livingston, NJ. He was an associate board member of the Philadelphia Shriners Hospital for Children.
Surviving beside his wife are two sons, Mark Anzalone and Rudolph Anzalone, Jr. both of Frederick, MD; a daughter, Karen Hoek of Sussex, NJ; two grandchildren, Kristin and Lauren Kimball of Sussex, NJ; one brother, Salvatore Anzalone of Rio Grande, NJ; and a sister-in-law, Maretta Anzalone of Lodi, NJ. Rudy is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Services: A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at the Second Reformed Church, 436 Union St., Hackensack, NJ 07601 , PH-201-343-7550. Pastor Dennis Wilcox will officiate.
