Roy Hiltner

Roy E. Hiltner 84 of Frederick, MD passed away on October 9, 2017 at Washington Hospital Center, Washington D.C.
He was a son of the late Roy M. Hiltner and Lillian V. Hiltner. A 1950 graduate of the first 12 year system at Frederick High School. He played local baseball in the Tri-county and Heart of MD Leagues. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in the Philippines at Clark Air Force Base. He was a member of the N.R.A. Roy retired from Federal Service (N.I.H.). He enjoyed his retirement years at his log cabin in Frederick as well as many deer hunting trips to Maine, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
Roy leaves behind brothers William J. Hiltner, Scottsdale AZ and Raymond F. Hiltner and wife Doris of Frederick MD. Nephew Todd Hiltner and nieces Rita Timmerman, Dawn Kitler and Karen Daw. Several great nephews and a great niece and special friends Vern and Pat Rainey, Don Loun, Robbie Loun, Greg Corbett, Travis Epley and Jeff and Dee Dee Luttrel.
A memorial service will be held at Connection Church, 2 East Main Street, Middletown, MD at 2:00 PM on October 29, 2017.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Connection Church. Roy was a casual person, to honor him casual attire is welcome
