Mr. Roy C. Harrington, 66, of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014.
Born January 18, 1948 in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Willie and Lucy Ingram Harrington.
Mr. Harrington retired, as a building inspector, from Montgomery County after 40+ years of service. He was a member of Peoples Baptist Church and the American Legion. Roy served his country in the US Navy as a medic during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed watching westerns and deep sea fishing.
He is survived by two children Samantha Sullivan husband Paul and Joshua Sullivan both of Wisconsin and several brothers and sisters. He will also be remembered by his best friend Tommy Geronda.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland.
