Roy Thomas Bentley

Roy Thomas Bentley, 78, of Lovettsville, VA, died on October 7, 2024. He is survived by his wife Ann; his three children, Lisa Hanes of Thurmont, Amanda Bentley of Lovettsville, and Roy Thomas Bentley II also of Lovettsville. He is also survived by his sister Nancy Myers of Perceville. He is preceded in death by his parents Ottie Lee B and Mae Ola Bentley, and his two brothers Henry and Jim. He served in Vietnam in the Air Force, and retired from the WV Air National Guard in 1999 after thirty years of faithful service. Furthermore, he loved airplanes, especially C1-30's. He loved his children and loved spending time with them. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to the Loudoun County Fire and Rescue, 801 Sycolin Rd, Leesburg, VA 20175.
