Rosemary Patterson

Rosemary (Rowley) Patterson, 89, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at her home.
Born on November 28, 1925, in Spring Creek, Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Iley James and Missie Alice (Cutrer) Rowley. Rosemary was the last surviving member of her family.
She was the owner and proprietor of Old School Fabrics in Boonsboro for over 30 years.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Wesley R. Patterson; three children, Lester R. Patterson and wife Susan of Sharpsburg, Maryland, Estella R. O'Connor of Palm Beach, Florida, and Alice F. Patterson and husband Roger K. Mursick, of North Bethesda, Maryland; son-in-law, Michael M. Curry of Boonsboro; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by one son, Thomas R. Patterson; one daughter, Ruth Ann Curry; and one grandson, Tyler P. Curry.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2015, at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. Rosemary's nephew, Rev. Jim Burke, will officiate. Interment will be at the Manor Church Cemetery in Boonsboro.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
