Rose M. Brinkley, 78, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Doey's House in Hagerstown, Maryland. She was the wife of nearly 59 years to Franklin Brinkley.

Born on June 3, 1942, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of Roy Victor Monninger and Florence (Thomas) Monninger. Rose was a longtime employee and associate of JG Cochran's Auctions and the co-owner of A1 Rental and RJ Equipment Sales. She was a member of Woodman of the World and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post 10 Clopper-Michael of Boonsboro. She loved listening to blue grass gospel music and preparing dinner to spend time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister, Rebecca Rohrer and her brother, Raymond Monninger Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Victor, Robert and Charles Monninger.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.

Burial will be private.
