Ronald Richard Robinson

Mr. Ronald Richard Robinson, 64, died suddenly Friday, November 7, 2008, at his home in Millsboro, DE. He retired to Delaware after living in Mt. Airy, MD for 30 years. He was the loving husband of Carol Ann Scee, his wife of 43 years.

Born December 21, 1943 in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Gordon K. Robinson and Gertrude V. Dix.

He retired in 2001 after working 33 years as a Senior Engineer for Montgomery County in Maryland. He served 2 tours in Antarctica with the US Navy Seabees. He was an active member of the American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro, DE and BPOE Elks, Cape Henlopen Lodge.

He was a member of Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church in Millsboro.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 4 children, Lauren (Rick) Boerstler, Robyn (David) Kaspersky, Kevin (Beth) Robinson, and Allison (Shawn) Moran and 13 grandchildren, Channing, Derick, and Jordan Boerstler, Justin, Samuel, Joseph, Jonathan, and Rebekah Kaspersky, Callie, Trevor, and Tanner Robinson, and Ashley and Taylor Moran.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Daniel Ronald Kaspersky.

Visitation: Friends may call on Wednesday November 12, 2008 from 7-9pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Maryland.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday November 13, 10:00am at the St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church,Rt. 75 Green Valley Road, Libertytown, MD.

Interment will be at Wyoming Cemetery in Wyoming, PA at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Oak Orchard Riverdale American Legion Post #28 at 31768 Legion Road, Millsboro, DE 19966.
