Ronald H. Underkoffler
October 13, 1933 — July 1, 2008
Mr. Ronald H. Underkoffler, 74, of Mt. Airy died Tuesday July 1st at Montgomery General Hospital, Olney.
Born October 13, 1933 in Reinerton PA, he was the son of the late Francis and Clara Underkoffler .
Mr. Underkoffler was a graduate of Williamson Trade School in 1954 where he studied masonry.
He served in the U. S. Army as a Morse code operator from 1956-1958.
He started his own sub-contracting business in 1964, eventually forming the partnership of U&K Masonry. When he retired from masonry, he worked for the Frederick County Public school system.
He was a lifetime member of the Mt. Airy Isaak Walton League and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Underkoffler of Mt. Airy, son, R. Timothy Underkoffler of Mt. Airy, daughter and son-in-law Melanie and Brian Cunningham of Dillsburg, PA and one grandson, Spencer Cunningham.
