Ronald Lee Miner, 76, of Boonsboro, passed away on September 23, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Anna Gay (Green) Miner for 51 years.
Born on September 3, 1942 to the late Ruth Irene and George Scott Miner. Ronald was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School, class of 1960. He served in the United States Coast Guard. He was employed by Hoffman Chevrolet, Hub City Express and retired from Structural Systems. He was a member of Greenridge Sportsmen Club and the Funkstown American Legion. He loved model trains and auto racing and was owner, pit crew for Hobby Stock/Endoro #25 driven by his son Rodney.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons, Rodney, Roger and Joseph; brother, Larry Wayne Miner; eight grandchildren, Abigail, Chace, Chance, Callie, Cheyanne, Dillion, Ryan and Caylee.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Scott Miner.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD 21713.
The funeral service will be held at 2pm on Friday, September 28 at Saint James School Chapel, 17461 College Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740. The Reverend Dr. D. Stuart Dunnan will preside. Interment will follow in Ringgold Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Saint James School at the above address.
