Mr. Ronald B. Lambert, 75 of Brunswick, Maryland passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the Citizens Nursing Home. He was the husband of Barbara Harman Lambert his wife of 51 years. Born September 24, 1934 in Harrisonburg, VA he was the son of the late Samuel Merle Lambert and Thelma Hedrick Lambert.
Mr. Lambert graduated from Circleville High School in Circleville, WV and will be remembered by his classmates of 1954. He then served in the United States Air Force from 1956-1960. He retired in 1999 from the Orbital Science Corp. formally Fairchild Industries after 34 years and had many close friends that he worked with.
He was a charter member of the Faith Baptist Church where he served on the building and ground committee and was an usher for many years. He also volunteered at the local Food Bank.
He had a passion for baseball and coached Babe Ruth and Legion baseball in Brunswick. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and always had his camera with him to record all his family events.
In addition to his loving wife Barbara he is survived by his three children, Ronda D. Lambert and husband Ken Henkel of Jefferson, David H. Lambert and wife Laurie of Harpers Ferry and Darla L. Schiffhauer and husband Clint of Harpers Ferry, four grandchildren, Zachary Lambert, Alycia Lambert, Owen Schiffhauer and Blair Schiffhauer. He is also survived by his brother, Donald Merle Lambert and wife Maureen of Falls Church, Va, aunt and uncle Gay and Garland Mullenax of Cherry Grove, WV, aunt Helen Hedrick of Parkersburg, WV, aunt Ina Lee Hedrick of Seneca Rocks, WV and aunt Norma Boserman of Elkins, WV, brother in law Joe Harman and wife Reva of Canaan Valley, WV and a sister in law Jean Harman of Harman, WV. He will also be remembered by all of his nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brother in law Blair Harman and niece Cheryl Harman. Also by many aunts and uncles to whom help raised him and were very dear to him.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 North Maple Ave., Brunswick, MD on Thursday, August 12
th
from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 on Friday, August 13
th
at the High Rock United Methodist Church, Seneca Rocks, WV.
