Ronald Hubert "Ronnie" Kaempf, age 56, of Rocky Springs Road, Frederick, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2009, at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
Born Sept. 13, 1952 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Hubert John and Agnes Victoria Little Kaempf.
Ronnie had been a district manager and dedicated tool salesman for Frederick Trading Co., Service Star, Wallace Hardware and May's Hardware and was currently with Mid-Atlantic Tool & Accessories.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Army Reserve.
Ronnie was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Frederick.
He was a member of the Mid-Maryland Ford Club and was a board member of Linden Hills Cemetery Association.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Joyce Marie Witek Kaempf, whom he married in 1976; one son, Kevin J. Kaempf of Frederick; one daughter, Lydsay M. Kaempf of Frederick; and one aunt, Nancy Little of Frederick.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Friday at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home in Boonsboro. The Rev. Barbara Bornemann will officiate. Burial will be in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
