Ronald Fallwell

Mr. Ronald Lee "Ron" Fallwell, 76, of Frederick, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the loving husband of Rachel Fallwell for 51 years.

Born June 12, 1938 in Roanoke, VA, he was the son of the late James Berkeley and Orpha Christine Fallwell.

Ron retired after 49 years with State Farm Insurance. He was a member of Frederick Church of the Brethren and FSK American Legion Post #11.  He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and an avid sportsman.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Derek Alan Fallwell and wife, Robin, of Hagerstown; and Christopher Shane Fallwell and wife, Paula, of Frederick; three grandchildren, Heather Estey, Breanne Fallwell, and Nicole Fallwell; and an aunt, Betty Ronk of Roanoke.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Paul Mundey officiating.

Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
