Mr. Ronald A. Alvarado, 56, of Mt. Airy, died on Sunday November 13, 2011 at his home. He was the husband of Cindy L. Alvarado.
Born on September 30, 1955 in San Francisco, CA, he was the son of the late Alfred Paul and Floy May Crump Alvarado.
Ronald was an Operating Room Technician for Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville for over 15 years.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Taylor and Casey Alvarado of Mt. Airy, MD. Siblings; Joseph Alvarado and wife Virginia of Burnsville NC, David Alvarado and wife Audrey of Granite Falls NC, Mitzi Crisp and husband Clifford of Colletsville NC, and Charles Alvarado of Colletsville NC. Also survived by numerous, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4-7pm on Wednesday November 16, 2011 at the Stauffer Funeral Homes P.A., 8 East Ridgeville Blvd. Mt. Airy, MD, 21771, and again on Friday November 18, from 10:30am until time of funeral services at 12:00pm at the Evans Funeral Home, 1070 Taylorsville Road, Lenoir, NC 28645. Interment will follow in Abundant Life Tabernacle Cemetery, Lenoir.
