Rona M. King, 52, of Charles Town, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, March 3, 2015, at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, West Virginia, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 4, 1962, in Des Moines, Iowa, she is the daughter of Mary (Short) Adams of Sharpsburg, Maryland and the late Ronald Adams, who passed away on January 7, 2013.
Rona graduated from Lincoln High School in Iowa.
She loved hiking, going to the beach, and, most importantly, her family and friends. She will forever be remembered for her contagious smile that would light up a room.
In addition to her mother, she is also survived by her two sisters, Roxanne Schauer of Brunswick, Maryland and Julie Fleming and husband, Scott, of Lovettsville, Virginia; and her brother, Jeff Adams and wife, Glenda, of Fredericksburg, Virginia. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Sebastian and Nicholas Schauer, Anna Adams, Sam Fleming, Jeffery Adams, Nathan Fleming, Jared Adams, and Leona Comstock.
A celebration of Rona's life will be held at the home of her sister, Julie Fleming, in Lovettsville, Virginia, at a later day and time.
