Rollin William Twigg, age 92, of Cape May, NJ, and formerly of Wolfsville, MD, died Monday, June 30, 2008, at his home.
Born Aug. 23, 1915 in Cumberland, MD, he was the son of the late John William and Katherine Castle Twigg.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Evelyn Bolling Twigg, on June 14, 1991.
He was a retired employee North American Phillips in Frederick, MD.
He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Waynesboro, PA.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by one daughter, Karen D. Newell of Cape May, NJ; three sons, R. Wayne Twigg and Richard A. Twigg, both of Smithsburg, MD, and Roger W. Twigg of Middletown, MD; five grandchildren; one step granddaughter and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Monday at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, PA, in Boonsboro. The Revs. Dwan Newsome and Wes Newell will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery in Wolfsville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the services on Monday.
