Roland Becraft, Sr.

Mr. Roland Stanley Becraft, Sr., 71, of Mt. Airy, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at his home. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Gloria Mary Becraft.
Born February 23, 1941 in Howard County, he was the son of the late Raymond James and Sylvia Pauline Poole Becraft.
Mr. Becraft was a mechanic and owned a gas station in Lisbon for 16 years prior to his retirement.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Roland Stanley Becraft, Jr. and Raymond Joseph Becraft; his brother, Raymond James Becraft; and his sister, Sylvia LaRue Becraft.
He was predeceased by his parents; a brother, Arnold Guy Becraft; and two sisters, Ruby Marie Becraft and Winifred Irene Becraft.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy. A service of remembrance for Mr. Becraft will begin at noon from the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
