Roger D'Andrea

Mr. Roger Anthony D'Andrea, 80, of West Friendship, died Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Ballenger Creek Center in Frederick. He was the loving husband for 57 years to Deanna D'Andrea of West Friendship.

Born October 14, 1940, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Concezio "Jack" and Mary (DeStefano) D'Andrea.

He worked for many years as a salesman for BFPE, International. He was an avid photographer who operated his own photography business for many years.  He took great joy in playing ice hockey, spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother Alvin D’Andrea, daughters Michelle D’Ascenzo, her husband Mark, Lisa Legier, her husband Steve, Denise Mathis, her husband Dale, and son Mike D’Andrea, his wife Laura. Grandfather to Danielle, Gregory, Hannah her husband Tyler, Allyson her husband Matthew, Rebecca her husband Jamie, Christina, Michael, and Ashley. Great-grandchildren Mason, Ava, Charlotte, Isabella, Juliana, Brooklyn, Grayson, and Clarence.

He was predeceased by his grandson Zachary, “Zac”.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mountain View Community Church, 8330 Fingerboard Rd. Frederick Maryland, on Monday, December 21, 2020, from 11-1 pm.  Social distancing and masks are required.
