Rodiner Gooding

Rodiner Gooding, 79, of Adamstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, September 11, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on December 9, 1940 in Maryland,  he was the son of the late Joseph Theodore Gooding, Sr. and Margaret Evelyn (Schumaker) Gooding.

He was the loving husband of Judith C. Gooding, his wife of 62 years.

He was owner and president of Enclosures Unlimited until his retirement in 2005.  He coached football and baseball for the City of Rockville for over 30 years.  He loved fishing and enjoyed going to the flea market selling fishing tackle.  But most of all he loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Judith he is survived by his children, Brenda Gooding and Ron Gooding and his wife, Tracey; grandchildren, Tommy O'Connor and his wife, Heidi, Christopher O'Connor and his wife, Leighann, Madilyn Gooding and Joey Gooding; great grandchildren, Sydney, Cash and Jameson O'Connor; brothers, Ted Gooding and his wife, Jean, Dennis Gooding and his wife, Carol and Richard Gooding. He is also survived by many dear lifelong friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD. 21702.

A celebration of Rodiner's life will follow at 7:00 pm. Rev. Tim May will officiate.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to the Hospice of Frederick, County.
