Rodger Dwayne Singleton

August 17, 1977 — July 25, 2011

Rodger D. "Dwayne"  Singleton, 33, of Boonsboro, Maryland passed away on Monday, July 25, 2011 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Maryland as the result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born on August 17, 1977, he is the son of Kyle Singleton of Altoona, Pennsylvania and Catherine (Robinson) Wolford of Hagerstown.

Dwayne was a 1995 graduate of  Washington County Technical High School in Hagerstown.

He was employed for the past four years as a welder by Pressure-Tech, Inc. in Greencastle, Pennsylvania.

When Dwayne found the time, he enjoyed fishing with his wife and children and racing at the drag strip.

In addition to his parents, Dwayne is survived by his wife, Dawn Singleton, his four children; Brooke R., Rebekah E., Kyle D., and Richard E. Singleton; two sisters, Daphne Strine and Alisha Wolford, both of West Virginia; one brother, Walter Wolford, and his maternal grandmother Luella Robinson, both of Hagerstown.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, Maryland.  The Rev. R. Thomas Fralin, Jr. will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow at Mt. Lena Cemetery in Boonsboro.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the funeral home.
