Rochelle Pearson

Rochelle E. (Unkle) Pearson, 94, a resident of Broadmore Senior Living in Hagerstown, Maryland and formerly of Keedysville, Maryland, passed from this life on Monday, August 1, 2011 surrounded by her family.
Born on August 16, 1916 in Schyler, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Christian Unkle and Ruby (Faulkner) Unkle. Her husband, Donald E. Pearson preceded her in death in 2001.
Rochelle was a 1932 graduate of Schyler High School. After high school, she went to nursing school in Chicago, Illinois where she graduated in 1934 and worked as a Registered Nurse until her marriage in 1941.
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Hagerstown.
Rochelle is survived by her two sons, Roland J. Pearson of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Rodney T. Pearson, Sr. and his wife Nancy of Keedysville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
