Robin Ghosh

Mrs. Robin Templeton Ghosh, 59, of Mount Airy, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, January 19, 2018, at her residence.
She was the wife of Sanjoy "Ron" Ghosh, her husband of 14 years.
Born on October 8, 1958 in Kingsport, TN, she was the daughter of the late William Pendleton Templeton MD and Betty Jean (Alves) Templeton. Robin was a proud daughter of the South who enjoyed both the beauty and history of that region.
She was a 1976 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport and of Baptist Memorial College of Health Sciences in Memphis, TN where she earned her nursing degree.
Robin served in the U.S. Air Force spending time in Okinawa.
She worked as Registered Nurse in Texas and Maryland, most recently with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Bethesda, MD.
Robin was a member of the Mount Airy Lions Club. An avid cook, she had planned to enter culinary school after retirement from nursing.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters: Barbara Joy and Cindy Lynn. Surviving in addition to her husband are brother and sister-in-law Scott and MeLinda Templeton and nieces Lauren and Candice of Piney Flats, TN; and nephew Todd Blakely of Kingsport, TN.
A celebration of Robin's life journey will take place from 2-5 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Boulevard, Mount Airy, MD, 21771.
Interment will be private.
