Robin Clingan

Robin Elaine (Saville) Clingan, 68, of Frederick, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 8, 2013 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Leesville, SC.

Born July 14, 1945 in Frederick, MD., she was the daughter of Clifford J. and Mildred L. (Redmond) Saville. She was an amazingly compassionate woman who was a devoted mother and “Oma” who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the glue that brought everyone together for gatherings and surprises with never ending love though many miles separated us.

She was a member of the Moose Lodge #371 and the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #1067. She will always be remembered by her Owl’s Club family who she loved so greatly and impacted her so much. She embraced life with a sense of spontaneity through cruises, Charlestown, WV trips and as always, her family and friends.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Misti C. Payne and husband, Milton E. Payne of Leesville, SC and Kisha N. Clingan of Philadelphia, PA. , grandson, Nicholas J. Payne of Chicago, IL., grand-daughter, Megan E. Taylor and her husband, Rodney of Lexington, SC. and her very best friend, Polly Keeney of Frederick, MD.

Family will receive friends at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702 from 11AM to 1PM and 3PM to 5 PM on Friday, November 15, 2013 followed by a service at 5PM.
