Robert William Stup

Mr. Robert William Stup, 84 of Frederick, MD passed away on January 10, 2010. He was the husband of B. Lorraine Moberly Stup. They were married on March 28, 1953.
Born on December 1, 1925 in Urbana , MD he was the son of the late Earl Howard Stup and Edith Marguerite Cecil Stup.
He was employed by the Construction Division of the Maryland Highway Administration. He retired in 1980 after 30 years of service.
He graduated from Frederick High School, Class of 1944.
He was a member of the Columbia Lodge #58 A.F. and AM Masons as well as the Scottish Rite Bodies of Frederick and Baltimore and the Enoch Chapter, Enoch Council and Jacque De Molay Knight Templars.
He was a long standing member of the NRA.
He is survived by three nieces and two nephews as well as several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his two brothers, Earl Howard Stup, Jr. and Gray son Hammond Stup, a sister-in-law, Barbara Moberly Poffenberger.
Visitation: There will be no viewing or calling at the funeral home.
Services: Services will be held at the Mausoleum at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Thursday, January 14th at 1:00PM with Rev. Tim May officiating.
