Robert "Snake" Kitchen

Robert P. "Snake" Kitchen, 63, of Boonsboro, Maryland, passed from this life on Friday, October 2, 2015 at his home.

Born on November 5, 1951, in Boonsboro, he is the son of Betty Mae (Itnyre) Kitchen of Boonsboro, and the late Leon Jackson Kitchen.

He was a 1969 graduate from Boonsboro High School.

Most recently, Bobby had worked as a truck driver for F.O. Day Company, Inc. in Rockville, Maryland.

He was a past member of the ABATE Motorcycle Organization, and he will always be remembered as a fan of Harley Davidson.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Barbra Jean Weisman and fiancé Brian Frye of Falling Waters, West Virginia; three sisters, Gloria Jean Clopper and husband Ed, Barbara Ann Hallmark, and Deborah K. Grim and husband David, all of Funkstown; two brothers, Kenneth L. Kitchen and wife Liz of Funkstown, and Ronald L. Kitchen, Sr. and wife Rita of Hagerstown; and two grandsons, Reilly and Aidan Weisman, both of Falling Waters.  He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.

He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Boonsboro Cemetery.
