Robert L. Pearson

Mr. Robert L. Pearson, 80, of Mt. Airy died on Monday, June 2, 2008, at College View Center, Frederick. He was the husband of Mary J. Pearson who died on February 16, 2008.
Born on February 12, 1928, he was the son of the late Whitey and Alice Wheeler Pearson. He was a draftsman for Minnicks Heating and Air Conditioning, retiring in the early 1990's after more than 47 years service.
Surviving are four children; Nanette Pearson of Mt. Airy, Nadine Owens and husband Charlie of Savage, Robert Pearson Jr. and wife Laura of Mt. Airy and Rory Moore and wife Trish of Missouri.
Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph Pearson and John Pearson, and a sister, Dorothy Flachett.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 PM on Sunday, June 8, at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 E. Ridgeville Blvd. Mt. Airy.
Services:
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 9, with Rev. Franklin Bishop officiating.
Interment will follow in Columbia Memorial Park, Columbia.
