Robert (Bob) Troupe

Robert (Bob) Eugene Troupe, 88, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at his home in Frederick.

Born on August 3, 1929, in Washington County, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Troupe and Ada  (Beard) Troupe.

He is predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Edith M. (Winpigler) Troupe.

Bob was the Vice President of Routzahn's Furniture Stores for 35 years, retiring in 1991. He graduated from Frederick High School, served in the National Guard and was a member of Glade United Church of Christ. He was also a life member of the Elks #684 and AmVets.  He was a previous member of the American Legion, VFW and the Sertoma Club.  He enjoyed reading, playing cards and traveling with his wife, family and friends; especially the annual family vacations to Ocean City.

He is survived by his children,  Jeffery E. Troupe (Terry), Teresa D. Segal (Ira), Belinda K. Hill (Terry), Brian D. Troupe and Dale W. Troupe (Kathryn);
loving grandchildren, Shasta Troupe, Lexa Troupe, Sarah Hill Brady (Rich), Amy Hill, Emily Hill Main (Joe), Rita Troupe Mullis (Matt), John Troupe (Elaine) and 3 great grandchildren, Dylan Troupe-Augustine, Raelyn Long and Sonny Troupe. He is also survived by one sister, Faye Burtner of Braddock Heights.

He is predeceased by sisters, Jane Fagan, Doris Troupe, and Betty Wise.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, June 18, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, MD.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home Chapel.

Rev. Philip Curran will officiate.  Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in  Frederick, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Glade United Church of Christ, 21 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville, MD 21793.
