Robert “Bob” Logan Terrett Sr., 84, of Keedysville, MD passed away at home on August 10, 2017.
Bob was born in Washington, DC on July 8, 1933 to Clare Myrtle (Logan) Terrett and William Lee Terrett Jr. He graduated from Montgomery Blair High School, Silver Spring, MD in 1953. After high school Bob served in the US Army during the Korean War. He married Margaret Ann Garner on July 6, 1957 in Silver Spring, MD. They were married 55 yrs.
Bob worked as an Electrician and was a member of IBEW 26 for 60 years. He and his wife owned and operated Town Center Sub and Pizza in Boonsboro, Md., from 1986 to 1995.
He enjoyed gardening and canning and he was of United Methodist faith.
Bob is survived by his daughter Susan Barnes and husband Darrell of Middletown, Md.; son, Robert "Bobby" Terrett Jr. and wife Darletta of Keedysville; brother Willis N. Terrett, of Millersville, MD; his grandchildren, Clifton Terrett, James, Kayla and Jennifer Barnes, and Lacy Neat; his great-grandchildren, Bronson, Davis, and Theodor Terrett, and Jayden and Katelinn Neat; and adopted son, Michael Kefauver; and his furry companion Foxy.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Clare Myrtle (Logan) Terrett and William Lee Terrett Jr.; wife Margaret Ann (Garner) Terrett and brother, William Lee Terrett III.
A memorial service will be held at Salem United Methodist Church, 25 S. Main St., Keedysville, MD. on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Al Deal will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to South Mountain Health Pennies for Patient Fund, 9 Saint Paul Street, 2nd Floor, Boonsboro, MD 21713; or Salem United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 25, Keedysville, MD 21756.
