Roberta Dougherty, 66, of Frederick, Maryland, passed from this life on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick.
Born on August 20, 1953, in Brownsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late John Catterall and Doris Jean (Percy) Lamb.
Mrs. Dougherty graduated with an Associates Degree in special education. She worked as an assistant teacher for special needs children. Rob was a loving wife and a loving mother.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Thomas M. Dougherty of Frederick; three daughters, Nichole Kline, Carolyn Apanavage and Christine Tuozzo; grandchildren, Charles Debose, Brayden Apanavage and Eastyn Kline; and three brothers, John Lamb, Jim Lamb and Scott Lamb.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The family cordially invites you to join them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, immediately following the visitation, at the Woodsboro American Legion, 101 W. Elizabeth Street, Woodsboro, MD 21798.
