Robert Taschner

Mr. Robert Ronald Taschner  78, of Mount Airy, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at his residence. He was the husband of Dolores J. Snyder Taschner, his wife of 58 years.

Born on July 15, 1936, in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Evelyn Rau Taschner. Known as Bob to his family and friends, he was a Mt. Airy resident for the past 42 years. Bob was a 1954 graduate of Allentown High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree form Muhlenburg College in 1958. He was employed at Merck, Sharp & Dohme Laboratories in Lansdale, PA; Flow Laboratories in Rockville, MD; Media Tech Laboratories in Herndon, VA and Bio-Whittaker in Walkersville, MD. He enjoyed gardening, playing golf, reading and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to his wife are daughters: Deborah Donnelly and husband Joseph of Catonsville, MD, Pamela Burgess and husband Timothy of Dayton, MD, Jenifer Narcise and husband EJ of Glenwood, MD and Jill Richardson and fiance' Lee Francisco of Roanoke, VA; grandsons: Cameron Burgess and wife Kathy, Ryan Richardson and wife Laura Beth, Bryce Richardson and wife Elizabeth and Zeke Narcise; granddaughters: Bridgette Swanson and husband Cory and Sarah Narcise; great granddaughters: Lucia Burgess and Olivia Burgess; his brother, Joseph E. Taschner and wife Joan of BAth, PA.

Service and interment will be private.
