Robert Stowers

Robert John Stowers, 66, of Walkersville passed away June 4, 2014 at his home surrounded by the care of his family and Hospice. He was born on March 6, 1948 in Washington, D.C. He is survived by two Sons, Bobby Stowers and girlfriend Debbie Holt, and Johnny Stowers and Fiancé Shannon Grossnickle; Two Grandchildren Robby Stowers and girlfriend Jennifer Courtney, and Lila Stowers; One Great-Grandson Austin Stowers all of Walkersville. He worked at R.L. Kelly and Sons Feed Mill for 18 years and then worked at McDonalds as a Maintenance Person in Walkersville for 25 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 40 years. Family will receive friends on Sunday, June 8, 2014 from 7-9 at Stauffer Funeral Homes, P.A., 40 Fulton Avenue, Walkersville, MD 21793. Funeral Services will be at 2PM on Monday, June 9, 2014 at the Funeral Home. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial Contributions are requested to be made to Hospice of Frederick County.
