Robert Putnam

Robert Francis Putnam, 50, of Frederick, MD died November 1 ^st of natural causes at Howard County Hospital. He was born February 27, 1960 in Athol, Massachusetts. He was the son of Paul Putnam of Brunswick, ME and the late Cynthia Ann Putnam.

In addition to his father he is survived by his children Gregory 16 and Jillian 13 of Damascus; his brother Clayton and his wife Cindy of Mt. Airy; his brother Glen and his wife Judye of New Market; his brother Steven and his wife Martha of Suffolk, VA; nieces Briona, Becky, Sean, Joanna, Jody, Abby, and his great-nephew James as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Robert was a life long Episcopalian and member of St. James Church in Mt. Airy. He was an assistant Boy Scout leader of troop #445 and played in Frederick city softball recreation league for the Generation Gap. Robert worked for Wackenhut Security and was a valued associate at the Bank of America in Clarksville where he was assigned. Robert dearly loved his children, family and the Boston Red Sox.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, November 5 at the Stauffer Funeral Home 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick from 6-8p.m. and a memorial service is planned at St. James Episcopal Church in Mt. Airy Saturday, November 6 at 3:00p.m.
