Robert Pryor

Robert Leroy Pryor, 69, of MD passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.
Born July 28, 1948 in Cavetown, MD he was the son of the late Charles Jacob and Hazel Helen (Beard) Pryor.
Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He served one tour in Vietnam and later finishing his tour in Germany as a Tank Turret Mechanic. He also enjoyed deer hunting, motorcycles and drag racing both cars and motorcycles.
He is survived by his brothers Eddie N. Pryor and wife Loretta of Sharpsburg, Gerald W. Pryor of Sharpsburg and Johnnie R. Pryor, Sr. of Boonsboro and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Charles E. "Gene" Pryor, Ronald L. Pryor and Richard Pryor.
The family will receive friends at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD on Friday, June 29, 2018 from 6-8PM where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30 at 10AM. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
Interment will follow at the Smithsburg Cemetery.
