Robert Perkins

Robert Eugene Perkins, 49, of Sharpsburg, Maryland, passed suddenly from this life on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at his home.
Born on December 21, 1965, in Frederick, Maryland, he was the son of Catherine M. (Mills) Perkins of Hagerstown, Maryland, and the late Henry A. Perkins.
Bob was a 1983 graduate from Williamsport High School.
He was employed for over 20 years with Gruber Latimer Restoration in Williamsport.
He was a past board member and football coach for the Boonsboro Athletic Association. He also had previously been a board member and coach for the South County Junior and Senior Leagues, having coached his team to the District 1 Championship in 2006. Most recently he was serving on the board, umpiring, and coaching in the Sharpsburg Little League.
Bob had attended church at Mt. Zion Mennonite Church in Boonsboro.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tina S. (Martin) Wolfe-Perkins; three daughters, Andrea J. and Robin L. Perkins, both of West Virginia, and Jessica D. Wolfe of Hagerstown; two sons, Christopher B. Wolfe and wife Johanna and Curtis M. Wolfe and wife Jennifer, all of Knoxville, Maryland; four sisters, Karen Snyder and Tina Carbaugh, both of Williamsport, Chevy Perkins of Hagerstown, and Wanda Arnold of Michigan; and two brothers, Michael and David Perkins, both of Hagerstown. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Raven, Autumn, Joey, Greydon, Sammy, and Victoria; and the Sharpsburg Little League community.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Mt. Zion Mennonite Church, 20544 Benevola Church Road in Boonsboro. Rev. Craig Oury will officiate. Final resting place ceremonies will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, as well as one hour prior to the service at the church.
