Mr. Robert Murray,47, of Brunswick, MD passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at his home. He was the husband of Kim Murray for twenty years.
Born May 13, 1964 he was the son of Judith Keeney Upchurch of Brunswick, MD and the late Robert Elliott Murray.
Mr. Murray was a graduate of Middletown High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1983-1986. Robert attended the Control Data Institute where he received his certification in telecommunications. He worked for Ft. Deitrick. Robert was a memeber of the Brunswick Masonic Lodge, 32nd Degree the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Fraternal Order of the Eagles 1136, AliGhan Shriners of Cumberland, MD and the Brunswick Moose Lodge Chapter 660. Robert enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley motorcycle, fishing and hunting and Nascar.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his children Robert Luther Murray, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Gettysburg, PA, David A. Celli, II of Hanover, PA and Jessica Beachley and husband Michael of Hinesville, GA; grandchildren Justin, Austin and Molly Murray, Kulia, Alexis, MiaBella and David, III Celli and Nicholas and Adalee Beachley; brothers John Murray and wife Susan of Knoxville and James Murray and wife Kellijo of NH and his grandmother Eleanor Murray of Frederick.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter Zoe Beachley and his step-father Edwin Upchurch.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11AM at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick. Rev. Tim May will officiate.
