Mr. Robert Edgar Mundy, Jr. 56, of New Market, died Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from a work related injury.
Born January 28, 1962 in Washington, DC, he was the son of Robert Edgar Mundy Sr. of North Carolina and the late Carol Cissell Mundy.
Robert worked as a Journeyman Electrician for Local 26 for over 30 years and was close to retirement.
He was very outgoing, and he greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, boats, muscle cars, Harleys, and traveling to Ocean City every weekend.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his son, Kevin Mundy; a brother, John Mundy; a sister, Donna Munday; his step-father, Jim Thren, and many good friends and loved ones.
A celebration of life service will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m.
