Robert Keffer, Sr.

Mr. Robert F. Keffer, Sr., 56, of Brunswick, MD died Tuesday, December 15, 2010, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Joan Keffer. Born December 31, 1953 in Wilkensburg, PA he was the son of the late William and Margaret Bauman Keffer.
Mr. Keffer served our country during the Vietnam War in the United States Marines. Robert worked for Cheetah Bulk Services as a truck driver. He was as avid football fan and enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys. Robert also enjoyed playing his drums and spending time playing with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter Jessica Houck and husband Adam of Brunswick; sons Michael Smith and wife Jennifer of Brunswick and Robert Keffer, Jr. of Brunswick.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Makenna Grace.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 2-3p.m. until time of services at 3p.m.. Pastor Ken Stalls will officiate.
