Mr. Robert Hines, Jr., 68 of Frederick, Maryland, passed away Friday, August 7, 2009 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Vivian Washington Hines.
Born May 14, 1941 in Miami, FL, he was the son of the late Robert, Sr. and Rebecca Reid Hines.
In addition to his wife he is survived by four children; Michelle Wilchombe and husband Brenden of Miami, FL, LaShan Gibson and husband Daryle of Frederick, Robert Hines, III and wife Carrie of PA and Kundu Hines of Frederick; grandchildren Michael and Marcus Hines, Dwayne, Jasmine and Elexsis Gibson, Robert, IV, Carroll, Maya and Sahara Hines and Jaydess and Bliss Lee, sisters Patricia Hines, Constance Green-Syder, and Denise Swasey. Two nieces(including special niece Chantelle Green-Chittams)
and one nephew, He was preceded in death by a brother Dwayne Hines.

Services:
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15, at 12:00 noon from the Progressive Community Church, 206 E. 4th Street, Frederick. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
