Robert Lee Forrest, 79, of Myersville, Maryland, passed away, on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Northampton Manor Health Care Center in Frederick.
Born on September 16, 1938, in Myersville, he was the son of the late Elmer A. Forrest and Helen V. (Kirby) Forrest.
Bob will be remembered as sitting on his lawn chair waving at whomever drove by his home.
He is survived by his sister, Hazel Babington of Hagerstown; and his brother, Clarence R. Forrest of Myersville; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by brothers, Alvey and Charles; sister, Helen; and a step brother, Pete.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Pleasant Walk United Methodist Church Cemetery in Myersville with his niece, Donna Forrest, officiating.
