Robert Favorite

Robert Allen Favorite, 86, went to heaven on January 8, 2023 to join his wife Dorothy and other immediate family members who have gone before.  
He was born in Thurmont, MD on May 11, 1936 to the late Cyrus and Thelma (Weddle) Favorite.  

Robert served in the United States Army and worked at Ox Fiber Brush Company before the business was relocated to Tennessee. He then worked as a processing clerk at the United States Post Office in Frederick, MD where he retired in 2001. 

In his retirement years, he enjoyed watching sports on tv and rooting for his Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed going to the Charles Town Races and Slots to pass the time.

He is survived by his daughter Brenda Favorite of Frederick, MD.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothy J. Favorite, sister; Lorraine Hawker and brothers; Kenneth Favorite, Donald Favorite and Morris Favorite.

Services will be private.
