Robert Scott Crowl, 44, of Brunswick, died suddenly on Friday, May 2 at his home. Born on July 11, 1969 in Frederick MD, Rob was the son of Alan and Gloria Crowl of Jefferson.
Rob was known for his infectious smile, humor and his caring for his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, crabbing, music, his guitar, and more recently song writing. He was a loyal fan of the Washington Redskins. Rob was a graduate of Brunswick High School, Class of 1987.
He was employed as an HVAC Technician with Mid-Atlantic Air in Hunt Valley, MD. He was an active member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Brunswick. He was also a member of Brunswick American Legion Post 96, Brunswick Moose Lodge #1582, and Brunswick Eagle Aerie #1136.
In addition to his parents, Rob is survived by his beautiful daughters, Megan Elizabeth Crowl and Madison Rose Crowl, who he cherished with all his heart; brother, David Crowl and wife, Michelle, of Brunswick; and sister, Julie Polyniak and husband, Chris, of Jefferson; nephews: Cody Crowl and fiancée, Chastity Hardesty; Jason Crowl, Dylan Mangold, Dain and Daniel Polyniak, and great-nephew, Colin Crowl. He will also be remembered by his numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; his former wife, Christal Crowl; and many devoted friends.
Rob was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Geneva Crowl, and his maternal grandparents, Fred Moore, Anna Lee Moore Kidwiler, and Harry Kidwiler.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 7th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Avenue, Brunswick. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, May 8th at 11:00AM at the funeral home, with Pastor Katie Bishop officiating.
A private Inurnment will be held at Union Cemetery, Lovettsville, VA at the convenience of the family at a later date.
