Mr. Robert W. Clayton, 54, of Frederick, MD passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at his residence. He was the husband of Ellen M. Clayton, his wife of 27 years

Born on November 5, 1957, in Louisville, KY he was the son of James Richard Clayton, Sr. and the late Dolores Jean Krimm Garcia. Robert was a Senior Systems Engineer in the computer industry. He enjoyed woodworking, restoring his 1958 Apache pick-up truck, building computers, and keeping up to date with technology.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by their 3 children: Robert C. Clayton, Marissa E Clayton and Kathryn J. Clayton; brothers James R. Clayton, Jr. and wife Betsy, John M. Clayton and wife Myrna, Kerry Clayton, Charles A. Clayton and wife Etsuko, Raul Garcia, Jr. and wife Liz; sisters Betty Clayton, and Naomi V. Avila and husband Eddy. Robert will also be remembered by his wife Ellen family: mother-in-law Jennie L. Gee; sister-in-law Melain M. Liu and husband Lee, Deanna M. Lau and husband Francis; Irene L. Lee and husband Franc; Judy M. Gee; brother-in-law Tony Gee and wife Anna. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews including AnnaLea; Melissa and Sarah; Sara, Kristina, and Randi; Jeffrey, Sean, and Ashley; Stephanie, Jennifer, and Victor; Jamie, Kristin, and Jason; Megan and Rachel; Kyle and Justin.

The family will receive friends and relatives for the viewing from 2-4 PM and service from 6-8 PM on Friday, November 25, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD where a service will begin at 6:00 PM with Rev. Lloyd Fuss officiating.

Interment will be private.
