Robert Franklin Barton, III

Robert Franklin Barton III, 40, of Mt. Airy, MD passed away suddenly on January 18, 2025. Born in Rockville, Maryland on May 17, 1984.

Bobby was the son of Robert Franklin Barton, Jr. of Mt. Airy, MD and Janice D. Barton of Gaithersburg, MD. Bobby leaves behind his stepmother Tamra C. Barton, sisters Adrienne E. Hall (Andrew D. Tompkins) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Kathryn Barton of Mt. Airy, MD, Uncle Alan Barton (Kim Barton) of Millsboro, DE, and Uncle Justin K. Hall (Althea Hall) of Laytonsville, MD. Preceded in death by Grandfather, Robert F. Barton, Sr., Grandmother, Phyllis A. Barton West, Uncle Michael Scott Barton, Grandfather, Jack W. Hall, Grandmother, June W. Hall, Uncle Jeffery P. Hall. 

Bobby graduated from South Carroll High School, class of 2003. He recently graduated from IEC-Chesapeake, 2024 and was a Journeyman Electrician. Bobby loved smiling. He could make anyone laugh. He enjoyed having fun and hanging out with family and friends. Bobby loved to cook and was an awesome cook…he could make a gourmet meal out of simple items from the pantry. He loved working on his cars. Bobby was a diehard Redskins fan and Caps fan and loved to watch football with his mom. Bobby lived in the moment and loved making memories with friends and family.

There will be two viewings at Staffer Funeral Home, Mount Airy, Maryland, on Monday, January 27, 2025. Times for viewing are 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
