Ricky Butts

Ricky Huffmeyer Butts,62, of Knoxville, MD passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Connie Butts.

Born April 1, 1954 in Knoxville, MD he was the son of Betty Fogle of Frederick and  late Guy Butts.

Ricky was a devoted husband and father and was loved by many. He was retired from Amtrak and was a member of The Brunswick Eagles Aerie 1136, American Legion Post 96, Amvets Post 2, Brunswick Moose Family Center #1582.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children Ryan Ramsdell and companion Tammie Earl of Maine, Chelsey Bryce and husband Peter of Woodbridge, VA and Cory Butts of Knoxville, MD; grandchildren Charles, Sadie, Isaac, Genesis, Isaiah and Peter (Xander), siblings Karen Wood, Melody Lawson and husband Earl, Donna Houck, Tina Tobery and husband Bruce, Dennis Butts and wife Kim, Bonnie Cutsail and husband George, Timothy Butts and companion Julie Gatto. He was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1100 N. Maple Ave., Brunswick on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 6-8PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 4 at 1PM. Pastor Ken Oyerly will officiate.

Interment will be held at Brownsville Church of The Brethren .
