Mr. Richard "Rick" L. Breeze, 49, of Myersville passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at his home.  He was the husband of Carol S. Breeze for 24 years.

Born on June 25, 1964 in Washington, D.C.  he was the son of Kathleen Peles Breeze of Middetown and the late Benjamin L. Breeze., Jr.

Rick was a 1986 graduate of Towson State University, receiving his BS in Business.  He was recently the CEO of HHPS.  Rick was a member of Middletown United Methodist Church.  He was also a member of MD Salt Water Fishermans Association of Frederick Chapter 22.  Rick was the Myersville Fire Company Fire Chief for four years, a Deputy Chief for 2 years and a life member since 2007, earning unit citations for actions during fire/rescue incidents.  Rick was an extraordinarily devoted husband, father and was actively involved in his daughter's lacrosse teams and supportive of their academic achievements.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children Katherine "Katie" Breeze and Samantha "Sam" Breeze both of Myersville; sister Barbara Jean "BJ" Breeze of Ellicot City and brother Benjamin Breeze, III and wife Vickey and their daughter Madison of Hagerstown; Father and Mother-in-law Harry and Pat Reynolds of Smithsburg and brother-in-laws Steven Reynolds and wife Dawn of Smithsburg and Brad Reynolds and wife Brenda of Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11AM at the Middletown United Methodist Church, 7108 Fern Ct., Middletown.  Rev. Dr. Susan Halse will officiate.

Interment will be private.
