Richard M. { Dick } Dolman

Richard M. Dick Dolman, 88 of Frederick passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Frederick Memorial Hospital.

He was the husband of the late Eleanora Lill Dolman who passed away in 2004.

Born September 29, 1920 in Nelsonville, Ohio he was the son of the late Henry and Nelle Dolman.

Richard was a man of God, a lifetime learner, a charitable giver and a devoted grandfather. He served in the United States Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre and later worked at and retired from Shell Oil Company.

He is survived by a daughter, Lynn Chucoski and husband John of Mt. Airy, a son, Richard Dolman and wife Becky of California, six grandchildren, John Chucoski, Carol Chucoski, Stephen Chucoski and wife Erin, T.J. Richard Chucoski, Shannon Lambert and husband Jonathan and Amanda Dolman, a great granddaughter, Katelyn Chucoski, a brother, Gerald and wife Lois Dolman, his nieces & nephews, Mike, Jeff, Sue Ann, Joyce, Linda, Ray, Milton, Sue and their families.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Keplar.

Services: Funeral services will be held at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 8 East Ridgeville Blvd., Mt. Airy on Friday, August 7th at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Don Moody officiating where the family will be present to receive friends one hour prior to service time.
Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy following the services.
