Richard Skadberg

Richard Warren Skadberg, 86, of Charles Town, WV, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at City Hospital in Martinsburg, WV.
He was born in Duluth, MN to the late Peter O. and Inga Lund Skadberg. After graduation from Duluth Central High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in W.W.II.
His wife of 54 years, Marlene J. Skadberg, preceded him in death in 2006.
He is survived by three daughters, Kristy Belgie of Tamarac, Florida, Jan Skadberg of Charles Town, West Virginia, and Lorrie Hawkins of Fairbanks, Alaska; three grandchildren, Richard Belgie, Jr. of Tamarac, Florida, Nicholas Hawkins and Abby Hawkins, both of Fairbanks, Alaska; and one great-granddaughter, Alivia Hawkins of Fairbanks, Alaska.
