Richard C. Lawall

Richard Coleman Lawall, 82, of Frederick, Maryland was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

Richard was born on December 3, 1940 to the late Richard Wilson Lawall and Elizabeth Coleman Lawall in Washington, DC. After Richard graduated from Anacostia High School, in 1960, he went on to work for the CIA in photo development. After his employment with the CIA, Richard took a position in sales. Richard retired from Next Day Blinds in 2017 after 66 years as a working professional.

A father to five children, Richard is survived by Vicki Lawall Price [Greg Price], Dana Nicole Conrad [CJ Conrad], Kristina Noelle Lawall [Kevin Bragdon], Scott Christian Lawall [Melanie Lawall] and Chad Matthew Lawall [Bekah Lawall]. Richard is also survived by his 14 grandchildren, with his first great-grandchild on the way.

Richard loved his family, music, history, and football. He was a collector of many things including hats, die-cast models, and historical memorabilia. He loved to share his stories about growing up in the DC metro area during the 1940’s and 50’s.

A public visitation will be held, in his memory, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, August 25th at North Valley Church in Myersville, Maryland.

A private celebration of life will be held for family and close friends to honor Richard’s memory.

The family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association and the National Kidney Foundation in Richard’s memory.
