Richard John Holmes, 30, of Frederick, MD passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at his home.
Born May 25, 1986 in Frederick, MD he was the son of Bonita Brandl of Frederick, MD and Glenn Holmes of Cascade, MD.
Richard he was a 2004 graduate of Catoctin High School. After high school he played in the band Corrupted Youth. He was an avid sports fan and played High School sports. Richard really enjoyed spending time and playing with his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two sisters, Chasity Fox of Frederick and Brandi Brandl of Emmitsburg; Dwayne Michael of Frederick and Anna Ragot of Frederick and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM.
Services and interment will be private.
