Richard Angleberger

Richard Angleberger, 68, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed from this life on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Julia Manor Health Care Center in Hagerstown, Maryland

He was born on November 20, 1949. Richard was the son of the late Charles C. Angleberger, Sr. and Florence (Bagent) Angleberger.

Richard worked at Genstar, for 30 years.  His favorite pass times were going for country rides, listening to music, playing cards and fixing things.  He loved the Ravens, Nascar but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grand kids.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Doris (Kathy) Morgan Angleberger; daughter, Stacy Lynn Cartnail; son, Clinton Eugene Angleberger and his wife Camille; brother, Melvin Angleberger of Frederick; sisters, Mary Eckenrode of Walkersville, Karol Crummitt of Bartonsville, Hilda Hanvey (Lee) of Emmittsburg; brothers in law, Eugene (Gene) Morgan of Lewistown, Douglas Morgan and partner Rick Bairan of Frederick, sister in law, Patti Stevens of Union Bridge, He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Richard is preceded in death by his siblings, Charles (Sonny), John, James, Geraldine (Gerry), Judy and brother in law, John Crummitt.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.

A celebration of Richard 's life journey will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike in Boonsboro, Maryland.  Rev. Tim May will officiate.  Interment will be at Boonsboro Cemetery in  Boonsboro, Maryland.
