Rhoda Aiello

Rhoda Aiello passed on Saturday, March 23, 2024, surrounded by loving family members, just two months after becoming a centenarian. 

Born on January 21, 1924, Rhoda was a nursery school teacher for several years before becoming a devoted housewife and mother to three energetic sons. She was always surrounded by family and enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, dance recitals, and celebrating holidays with family. She was always ready for a family gathering. Above all else, Rhoda loved and cherished her family. On January 13, 2024, family and friends gathered for a beautiful celebration of Rhoda’s 100th birthday.

Rhoda is survived by her children, A. Philip and Myrna Aiello, Richard V. and Missy Aiello, Vincent J. and Frankie Aiello; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren, who affectionately knew her as Mommom and GG.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent James Aiello, Sr.; and her brother, Harold Levee.

Friends and loved ones will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024 with services to be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike in Frederick, Maryland. 

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Norbeck Memorial Park, 16255 Batchellors Forest Road in Olney, Maryland with Rev. Tim May officiating 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Association, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Deaf Seniors of America.
